Hmm
I like this time of the day the most to be on sololearn. Because now there aren't all of those spamers or "I like everything that my friends post no matter if it's good or bad" people. And no people that post about other peoples achievment or anything other annoying like posting "r" under every spam post. Right now there are only coding questions and very nice answers from people... James, Maz, Ulisses Cruz That's how I love the Q&A(:

Just to clarify on behalf why we (as mods) post 'R'.
These are what we consider 'trails' which we leave for the convenience of other mods to weight in on fulfilling 1/3 of the report quota required to remove/censor a post. Instead of rummaging and scrolling through hours of history in the discuss section, a mod would be able to follow the trail of another mod and make sure that no single post is missed out. To add to the elaboration of purpose, since mod reports are anonymously casted, we have to know how many reports are casted on a thread to make sure that 3 will remove a thread. (Yes, there sometimes are exceptions).
As a mod, I have personally found the R mark to have aided me in my duties.
That said, I see no reason for other members to do the same. If this caused annoyance, you all have my apologies - I regret that this has became a trend in the community.

I agree with this đ

@Tim G. No problem. It's good to know how the community feels about things. I'm glad you voiced out.
Anyways, I'd still like to thank @imabadkidz and other SoloLearners for helping out in the past few days (I've been offline today, not sure if we have spam). Hats off to the dedication. R mark (or RPAP) aside, if he was mod, the spam could have been removed much quicker.
That said, let's keep the R mark to a minimal to avoid.. err... pollution.

Posting "r" is not help. It's just spam.
It's not helping or cleaning the community in any way. Report it and that's it.
People will already see that it is spam without looking at the comments.
When a post has many dislikes, then people will see that they shouldn't trust it.
This is like saying
"When ever somebody is mean to you, start screaming." Total nonsens

It is better to post R under spams so that the others would get to know.

@imabadkidz
SoloLearn doesn't care about the "r" comments.
They care about the reports.
People with comon sense can see the difference between a normal post and a spam post theirselfs.
"Please report this" could be countrd as a reasonable comment.
But just writing "r" or "rpap" is spam.
No matter what you call it.

You write this because you want to show people that they should report it right?
People can't know what "rpap" means from no where.
If you really want to help, then either don't respond to spam posts, or respond with a real sentence instead of r rpap etc.
I unfollowed people who spammed this because my feed was full with:
xxxx posted a new comment:
"r"
xxxx posted a new comment:
"r"
xxxx posted a new comment:

xxxx posted a new comment:

xxxx posted a new comment:

xxxx posted a new comment:

xxxx posted a new comment:

xxxx posted a new comment:

xxxx posted a new comment:

This doesn't help anyone.

It was not a question. It was an opinion. Nothing to mark as solved.
"It would have been good if he was a mod"
The point is, he wasn't.
And like you said, if the mods do it then it's okay.
But other people shouldn't do it too. A hundred non-mods could comment "r" on every post and it wouldn't make it disappear faster.
When mods do it it's reasonable. When non-mods do it, it is just spam.
And to write "r" as a non-mod is an effort of 2 seconds and doesn't help in any way.
Anyways, Hatsy explained it so I would say this discussion is closed.

When you started with the "rpap" I had to unfollow you because my feed was spammed. lol

Lol dude, what are you even doing here if you troll?
And no I didn't follow you, I just wanted to be nice to you.

Spamming is not "making it a learning environment"
What are you even talking aboutđđđ
You just don't understand what the point is of keeping the q&a clean.
"I will keep posting rpap" that's called trolling dude.

@Hatsy Rei
Thank you for making it clear.
Yeah it got really annoying especially when those same people then later talked about "we must stop spam" so ironic..
Thanks Hatsy!
