do freelance then if you have enough experience build a start up company.

Build a portfolio so that you can show off your knowledge and skills, you don't need a degree for that. I know a guy who used to rant on forums and got a job writing through that. Just putting yourself out there and putting in the grind

I had colleges without degree. Some companies don't need degree but knowledge, others have policy that degree is needed to apply for a job.

Try applying to places that interview based on practical skills rather than experience. Some companies are better about this than others.

hi there are several bootcamps that teach you programming in weeks or a couple of months. You could also go for certifications, like Oracle or Microsoft
