java is tough while you don't know C++.
though they are 2 different languages.
But learning C++ first will make you understand Java easily.
otherwise yes, it's tough.

Agree with @NimWing Yuan, Sololearn Java is really easy since it teaches you the fundamentals. If you get the basics down, you can keep progressing to a much advanced level in any programming language/framework/library.
No programming language is easy or tough (except maybe Python 😛). Everyone has their own comfort level. As an example:- Some people may find Assembly Language easy while others may find it difficult.
It depends on what your interests are and what you're comfortable with. A week ago I thought JavaScript was hard and probably impossible, now I think I might make a career out of it.
Long story short:- If you don't try new languages, how will you know whether you like them or not ☺
