As a newbie to Javascript, what would you recommend me learning, Angular 2 or Angular JS?

I know Javascript has a steel learning curve, I hope the master MEAN stack in the coming days, now when I am perfecting my frontend skills, should I start with Angular JS or I directly start with Angular 2, with research I have found out Angular 2 is a completely different ball game than Angular 1. Would appreciate your thoughts on this.

It's better if you learn Javascript first before attempting to learn one of it's libraries.
