How to learn about algorithm ?

I think it will b a logical step for me ..i want to participate in competitive programing

many books provide us algorithms information, but certainly is not going to result as easy as pages on internet, You can try in FreeCodeCamp and later read some books for a better explanation

I am working on algorithims as well. www.freecodecamp.com will teach them to you, after you get through the basics. I plan to give www.hackerearth.com a shot.

I would suggest going to FreeCodeCamp. I am currently a user on there and one of the many concepts that they have available is algorithms at various levels of difficulty. While I have not got to that section yet, the site's experience has been good so far and would recommend looking into it.
