The question preferably should be, what do I want to do?
I would recommend digging into some topics you are interested in and after that take all steps needed in order to acquire the necessary knowledge needed to succeed in that specific metier.
For example:
- if you are interested in Game Development, first of all learn the basic syntax of C# and then jump right into the field by doing the tutorials of the Unity game Engine or learn Game Development on Udacity through for instance their new Virtual Reality courses or even take one of their paid Nanodegrees.
- if you are interested in artificial intelligence, deep learning, neural networks and so on, become familiar with Python. Listen to the Stanford lections on AI and neural nets which are available for free on youtube. Take the machine learning, or deep learning courses of Udacity. And if you struggle with the theory watch Andrew Ng's machine learning course on Coursera which is also quite good.
So the message I wanna convey here is that theoretical knowledge of several languages do not take you any further. It's not about knowing the syntax of 10 languages. Programming is all about doing and about not to fear whatever the challenge. Go for whatever interests you and do it now. Do learn the essentials before jumping into a topic, but do not wait till you are fully ready, because nobody of us was, or ever will be.
You can learn anything, if you just want to.
