To be fair, Unity3D handles 2D games and is also free.

That said, if your goal is 2D games, I would heavily consider GameMaker by yoyogames

Or godot wich is free, open source. Look at the GDQuest channel on YouTube for tutorials. For 2D games, it would make more sense to use Godot instead of unity 3D.

To be fair, Unity3D has restriction uses for free version (same for GameMaker) and was primarily made to make 3D games. Hence it can do 2D games but it doesn't mean it's well designed for it. Godot has some advantages concerning those points. Look at some video tutorials about all the available engines, their Wikipedia pages and choose according to your goals and long term perspectives.

yes i know but on wiki italy they told is some problem to do with pyton , but i bellive i try to do with godot.
