no, Java isn't compatible with all devices. the host machine should have Java Virtual Machine JVM on it to run Java programs.

mainly there are two types of Syntex writing styles one is C type and then other one I didn't remember the name of that. programing languages which follows c style are c++, java, c#, golang, etc
