I know a 12 year old with the username Lunar who I would consider to be an equal, if not better than me in coding.

young minds are the best at learning period. if you think you can buckle down and learn right now, you'll be immensely better than you would have if you waited until you're older.

I recommend python for learning programming easily, but if you think you can handle c++ (since its in your tag), then it might be worth a shot

c++ is the most difficult. java is pretty easy, but python is easier. I suggest python.

But keep in mind, you can also do html+css+javascript if you want to make websites. they are all pretty easy, and HTML is the easiest of all but it doesn't count since it's a markup language and not a programming language.

I encourage to get started if you have the interest! I am 30, and wish I had the drive to begin this like you do at your age. You have quite an immense amount of help from those on here if you run into anything boggling you.
