if you have a discord account, you can join this server https://cheeze.club/zvwr is basically a server with people. some of them are web developers too. im sure we can help you get to the "correct direction" but talking in forums isnt a good idea so its best if we can talk about your dilemma somewhere meant for chatting

Personally, I'm a fan of MySQL, but everyone enjoys their own "flavor." For most of my web projects, I use a LAMP stack, and it works flawlessly for me. (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)

^If you want to read more about what a DBMS is.
To answer your question simply, read SQL/MySQL next, along with PHP. You'll find your understanding there. lol DBMS will make a lot more sense once you begin messing with SQL (or similar).

@Cheeze This place is meant to ask questions and receive answers. lol It helps them with their immediate question, and also helps anyone else that may be wondering the same thing. However, you get +1 from me for clever marketing strats. :D
Anyways, that discord open for anyone to join? I'll jump in there when I get off work. Can't hurt being around like-minded individuals.
