I started learning! It's very interesting! High speed render & virtual DOM. The main problem of DOM is that it is slow and JS is fast! So building HTMlL using JS seems solving the problem. But not all so explicit... There is also React Native which is a framework based on React library for building awesome crossplatform applications! Write once - run anywhere! But the technology is too young!
