For you concatenate the value from a String with a Variable in JS/jQuery and PHP you can use this:

JS/jQuery:
<script type="text/javascript">
var age = 17;
alert ("My Name is Rafael and my age is: " + age + ".");
</script>

PHP:
<?php
$age = 17;
echo "My Name is Rafael and my age is: " . $age . ".";
?>
