Python for Android - is real?

Question

Guys, I want to make mobile app for Android with help of Python, because I like it. Recomended framework for me - it is Kivy, but I dont sure about it. What do you say?

yes you can
but there's one problem
you have to make every component by code so no material design available
there's nothing you can do about that
and also you can do this only on linux

one more thing
not much library
every thing is on your own
