Sololearn & Employment Idea

Lots of people ask about how/where to go after SL. *. Can I use this for my portfolio? *. Does the certificate mean anything? *. Where to find employment as x in y? I have an idea: *. SL offers a service to companies looking for code services. *. [optional] We build a portfolio (incl. phone no & real name), employers can see who they hiring. *. Payment is made to SL and then SL takes their share (20%?) and pays us in Bitcoin when job's complete. +1 this to show SL we're serious! We can have a real future!

Well everyone, there is an answer. It's *something* at least that'll *maybe* bridge the gap until SL can setup a means: https://www.xbtfreelancer.com/?ref=42567 A friend of mine freelances and he sent me this link when I mentioned the situation of different countries etc. **You're paid in Bitcoin** so your country doesn't matter. A wallet is easy to setup and costs nothing locally. I suggest a local wallet personally, but if you're intimidated, there are online services. If you have questions about Bitcoin, I'm pretty new myself but I can maybe shed some light on it. Hope this helps people here get started on earning a little money with coding. I'm still trying against all those more experienced, but still. Anyway, good luck everyone, hope you make some cash!! Edit: If you work for Bitcoin, age, country, labour laws etcetera don't matter ;)

Hey guys! We are seriously thinking about helping you with recruitment... What would help us a lot here is to understand the developer level of individual SoloLearn community members. Any ideas on how we can do this? And just FYI - we are NOT selling your data to ANYONE:) Not our style:)))

they may be actually doing this, although in a more subtle way: they sell our info (email) to recruiters. it's unknown if they do though.

Thanks @Yeva. It's not just permanent employment, also even just freelancing small modules and single projects. Being paid it Bitcoin would be great because your country wouldn't matter and neither would personal details etc. SL would be keeping the money in holding until the client was happy. It's a good system. Best is that it can help users reach out to countries they never would normally have.

SoloLearn's interface is not of that kind it will ask it users whether they just want to learn or find a job with the help of SL like GitHub or Hackerearth or freecodecamp. However this idea is good

people might not hire from here because coding challenge option is still simple. employers always want complex problem solving skilled coder.
