@thanks kuba for info, I presume cousera is a paid service so I never try it.

It is paid only if you want a certificate. Otherwise, some courses are mostly free (full video content, peer reviews, assignments and tests). If you don't want or need a certificate or a capstone project - go ahead :)

I would really recommend doing an online interactive course. Many people think those are purely videos and stuff...
NOPE! You can have both videos and tests (not quizzes - real knowledge and comprehension testing), p2p reviews and such. And it all for FREE (although some conditions have to be made, usually).
From my personal experience, I recommend doing the "Python for Everybody" course at coursera.org:

The challenges are good for learning some small concepts like how lists work or how a specific small example works. I want a list of maybe algorithms or big questions to implement
