Is it a good idea to learn multiple coding languages simultaneously?

I've seen other people here on SL using/ learning multiple languages at the same time and was wondering if that's a good idea, especially for a beginner.

You can learn HTML and CSS simultaneosly, but anyway learn from scratch all the fundamentals of every language it is not the best idea, especially if you have no previous experiences.

I think it's not. But you can combine two similar.
Example:
- Java, C#
- Python, Ruby
- HTML + CSS, JavaScript
