Why it's not possible to change font family in transitions ? 🙀

I know it's not possible to achieve it through Pure CSS but why...?

I wanted to make a Welcome code for Sololearn I like the animation that Sololearn used in it's homepage...

it's not possible on JavaScript or jQuery cos animations are only used on scalar and vector quantities not colors or font.

I also found it hard to make this...
