I want to become a software engineer then which line will i choose in college??

I'm confused between computer engineering and software engineering... Is they are same?

You should definitely choose software engineering. But remember that studying it in colleague is not just about coding but also lots of other stuff like operating systems, data manipulation systems, project managment.
The best way is to find a student or a teacher at colleague and ask them for more information.

No. Software engineering deals with program development. Think of Sololearn or Microsoft Word.

Computer engineering I guess would be the hardware, or algorithms and the base that software relies upon.
