Helpful Starter Projects?

Does anyone have any helpful starting out projects to attempt? I've almost finished the course and would like to test my skills with some basic projects. My brother recommended making a tic tac toe board, does anyone else have suggestions?

I would advise you to explore the code playground and see what has been done. you will find pretty good collection of beginner projects.
