It would be great if someone tell me meaning of exponentiation.

Exponentiation means how many times you want that value to be multiplied by itself.

Denoted by double asterisk **
in mathematics its denoted by ^

Eg

2**2=4
2**3=8
2**4=16
2**5=32
and so on
