Out of curiosity why have u chosen to learn programing

That's true. I've actually always wanted to learn different programming languages regardless of whether I have a use for them. I'm just glad that I finally started.

My previous goal was to build a game, then it became a matter of wanting to know more about how these software that I use work. Now my goal is just to be a good programmer and to improve.

(I still stand by the self-aware AI scenario, of course)

for when Robots become sentient. I've got to be able to reprogram them at will, obviously.

Because it's the digital age. I should learn programming before I get left behind.
