ai is basically anything that is programmed to have any feature a sentient human being would have. an actual machine could be able to pick up boxes, even play sports.
for example, many progammers have programmed a bot specified to act upon a few things. if it were here, it could make posts and give upvotes/downvotes to whoever its programmed to and whenever its programmed to.

i'm personally very excited for the next stage in ai despite a lot of people who are pretty used to the whole 'robots are going to take over the world' idea, to my knowledge ai can encrypt itself - using stolen code. i haven't heard of a machine that is completely ai. still pretty cool! *_*
