depends on your definition of sad. things are not always favourable, sometimes days are Merrie sometimes less than optimal. your perception, adaptability & outlook to life in general is important. what you learn from the experience, did some situation got out of control . what you learned from it etc.
PS: have a positive outlook to life :)
days don't come as happy or sad it's your perception.

I got a response from a few inventions I had submitted to the company and in their response there was a line break there< /br> I threw me for a loop I didn't expect it that's why I was just checking to make sure it was a line break
