💻👦🖱 Photoshop and Illustrator >= 500💵😨
Is it justified to use such expensive programs in webdesign? I know we use a small part of their possibilities! How much better gimp and inkscape? Or other sixpenny alternatives? And I know also that Adobe instruments are more powerful, but nevertheless... What can you suggest? What do you think? What design tools do you like?

Adobe has support + I think most of their products can be used as web services these days, ie monthly subscription, rather than a huge sum of money to buy the product. Those are important to companies.
If you are an individual or an independent freelancer it makes no sense to invest that much in my opinion...

I've recently downloaded inkscape and I find it a bit challenging to use. How did you guys learn it? Can you recommend some good tutorials?

I didn't said about comparing these amazing products and gamedevelop industry or cinematographics, or 3d motion etc...
Only web design, only making of templates
Only reasonable purposes of using Photoshop and Illustrator😊
Maybe unity or unreal?😀

Absolutely agree with you. I meant exact this too!

Why then almost all big and high-level studios use Adobe instruments?😉

I know what is gimp😉
I know Krita, but I'm not an artist
unfortunately we have standards as psd layouts in web design, and free alternative of Photoshop is gimp of course
Try to work with web design studios, I'm affraid that they haven't got Krita😢
for individual funny projects you can use excel from MS (i'm not kidding you) and even paint, but what programs use serious guys in web design industry? I'm not meant (sketch on MacOS) or Affinity, and incalculable amount of other products

we have something of monopoly about Adobe products like Autodesk products, or Siemens products, or Matlab, or Solid, or Catia and so one in other kind of industries...
and in some reasons it's good of cause!!!

Why bad?
If you don't trust any of those cracks thats why you can always use VM incase if the crack will have some Rats BackDoors worms and etc.
And if you still dont trust the crack. Check for source and if the source is not shared. Try to decompile it. Or you can just search for key's that way no need to spend ur cash and buy something else for those money that you were ready to spend :v

I just want to be a web designer, I don't want assemblers or reverse engineering😁

I like adobe online services: kuler, portfolio, it's Photoshop-online (unfortunately I don't remember exact name😢). Last tool is very convenient. You can upload psd and work with template like on your local machine and even generate css, also work with fonts in layout!👍
and many-many others...
