Using IFRAME is good / Leagal / advisable?

Question

other than harmful contents auto download issue..is it advisable to use IFrames(more than 2-3) iframe in html pages .. will it cause any privacy violation issue ?
what are all cons and pros of an Frame

<frame> and <frameset> elements have been deprecated/abandonned in Html5, but <iframe> is always a valid/official element...
