After html

i am attempting to see if a new career is for me after being a chef for ten yearsI want to either work as a web developer or software developer/ engineer. I just completed the html course and I understand it, but I am looking for some advice on what course to take next, and what i can do to continue learning while also being ablento practice with the courses and coding languages I have and will learn. also some general advice won't be turned down! also i know I cant do all that with just html,thanks!!

after html, what is most recommend is to have an understanding of css especially if you're going to be a web developer. afterwards you can try js and any backend that suits your purpose, there's also helpful posts i believe for said backend languages if you have any questions. i wish you so much luck! :D

Front end web developers use html css and javascript, so if I was you I'd look at the latter 2. Depending on what tools you want to use you could use php or ruby or c# or java, it's up to you.
