Final Python / Pygame game

Question

So it's been nearly a year that I'm using python and nearly 3 months that I'm using pygame, as I'm a huge fan of game making.
After several researches I understood that C++ is much more usefull for game making. So I'm shifting to C++. I just want to creat a final game with Python / Pygame before I leave them. Any ideas of an original 2d game to make ? I really need Ideas ..

What about a version of snake...maybe just more creative. Or a good old bomberman? How complex do you want it?Because you can end up until your own "i wanna be the guy"-version and beyond :^)
