Kotlin or java ?

ive been thinking should i start learning java or kotlin , ive seen some codes of kotlin its look easier .
please give me your opinions ^^

learn Java first, then Kotlin. I think it'll make things easier.

but, if you think you can learn Kotlin without Java, give it a shot.

Java is more advance than Php.

Java is more widely used (so more demand in terms of jobs), but is quite verbose. Kotlin looks a lot easier. If you have little programming experience I suggest starting with Java, as there are so many resources. And continue with Kotlin / other JVM languages if you want to.
