Do I have to learn js before jQuery or can I just start with jQuery, I have a small background about js but its stil hard for me

jQuery in its essence is javascript. of course you can just start with jQuery first, but eventually you will have to learn javascript in order to exploit the full potential of jQuery. plus if you start with javascript you will find learning jQuery much much easier.

as jquery is mostly used to shorten JS code with a shitload of helpers, id say you definitely need to know basic JS before digging into it. You can do almost everything jquery does with JS, it's just take more code.
i started learning jquery without knowing perfectly JS thought, it's not really hard.
tl;dr version: learn JS bases first and experiment with jquery \o/
