Use antivirus+firewall(when connected to net). Do not click on any link(on any random site or attached in your mail) without knowing where it would take you . Never share your bank credentials ( like password etc .), password of gmail or facebook whatever with anyone . Try not to use pirated software or download them from trusted site .

When you enter website (especially financial) make sure that "https" appears in the address bar, which means connection is secure.

Using external program might help. I tend to use cyberbit. There are also pieces of code you can use in your own that can be useful. Good luck.

Keep your mobile phone safe and secure by using mobile anti-virus software to protect your personal data. It is the best way and one of the most important thing.

That depends how much you're willing to put into it... for example i really like to recommend Cyberbit, which is an anti-malware and an overall cyber security solution provider. Now the question is whether they stand up to your budget or nah.

I think it's important to secure your network using a cyber security fixed solution. I like to promote machine learning that's fused into cyber security, which is called Behavioral Analysis technology. You can look up Cyberbit for more info & costs
