my code gets deleted:(

Question

When i do a ton of html stuff (more like 20 lines) i usually switch to the css app then do my css ( I cant remember everything) <b> BUT </b> my HTML turns into either nothing or the body and { } from the css.
Any help guys I did the same code twice almost a third time
