It's the best C/C++ IDE world wide. It got the greatest debugging tool (very powerful), the greatest code analysis and auto complete (IntelliSense). It's a pity that the linux world doesn't have a comparable IDE.

clion is a non free editor, visual studio is. I have both editors and coded with them. I have to say that VS clearly wins the battle atm. At Java Programming, the most advanced IDE is from JetBrains, but at C/C++ it's Microsoft.
