Is notepad++ a different app that I have to install.... Actually am confused where i vl write programme

In notepad++ you need to write each and every line & word of code but in eclipse or NetBeans you will get some suggestions according your code...& it is also easy to use and easy to run project...best of luck... Notepad++ is just like notepad with supporting programming language...don't be confused...

notepad++ is a basic program with the capability to read and write in many different programming languages. it's diversity is what makes it so popular. however I will strongly recommend using eclipse to write Java in. as notepad++ is well.. just a notepad. eclipse will do everything you will need to write a program. there are basic step by step instructions on how to set it up on the download page.
