As a software engineer what are to study most

I think it still depends on the type of the software, cause possibilities are endless. Python is better with Data tho, c++ is good for anything (nearly) but harder to understand, WPF lets you make a windows application with c# and XAML, you can try QT for cross platform or you know, anything since we can write software using html, css and js
