Functions and integers

Question

I am taking my first c++ class and it is kicking my butt. How do I know what functions and integers to use? Sometimes the functions are given, but when they are not, the answer is not always in the book and I have to look at someone else's code. Is this normal?

yeah it is very normal happens in every core programmers life in the beginning.
Just dont give up and stay motivated find the concept you are making mistakes and focus more on them its not that difficult just dont give up.

Thanks for your response. I'm not used to having to cheat...pretty much...to get a good grade. What yiu said makes sense though. I think there are many ways to get the answer. As long as I get the concepts down?
