What language(s) should I learn first?

I have taken a class that taught me about HTML and CSS, and I'm relatively decent at those languages, even though I still need to practice and expand my knowledge.

Besides that, though, I'd very much like to get more into actual coding, and learning how to use coding to make things. I'm not sure what I would use the coding for, but I'm generally interested in dipping my toes in the coding fields. I'd like to get into coding out of interest. I found web design fascinating.

What language(s) do you guys think would be best to start with?
