Do we get more points when we beat someone with a higher level?

I am level 11. Earlier a lvl 15 beat me and I lost 28 points. Then I beat the same guy and I only won 6 points. I was under the assumption I should have lost less and won more because he is a much higher level than me. Am I missing something?

User level doesn't directly affect the challenge XP as it's a cumulative sum of XP of different weapons (languages).

You get higher XP to challenge user with XP on par with you or higher and vice versa.

The max and min winning XP is 32 & 5 and it's inversely proportional with the losing XP. 😉

@Zephyr Koo. That makes perfect sense. I checked and his xp was lower than mine on the weapon we were using. Thanks!
