how 7%(5//2) is 1
7 Respostas
+ 7
5 // 2 are in brackets, so evaluate that first.
5 // 2 = 5 divided by 2, rounded down.
5 / 2 = 2.5,
rounded down = 2
7 % 2 = what are you left with when you divide 7 by 2? ( remainder )
7 // 2 = 3 ( rounded down )
2 * 3 = 6 ( 2 fits 3 times in 7 )
7 - 6 = 1 ( left with 1 )
So that's why it is 1

Why 7-6?

@Josiah Clymer
In order to find the remainder you subtract the number by the biggest number that can possible fit inside it.
In this case we subtract 6 from 7, because 6 is the biggest possible number that can divide 2 while staying below or equal to 7.
