How to amplify self-learning?
I often experience a problem with respect to self learning.I am mostly dependent on some guidelines from someone such as a teacher or a friend to always help me out in understanding basic concepts but due to this I lack the habit of self learning. I observe most of the people here at sololearn are self-learners(as the name signifies too) since they cross their boundaries and learn new things by themselves. I want advice from u guys to develop this habit with respect to any field in life. Thanks for reading!

Learn how to properly research; that's a must. As they say, if you don't have the resources, be resourceful. If you run into a problem, how do you find the answer? How long do you wait before you ask someone? It's important that you learn how to research because then you can have the means of finding your answer and rely upon yourself to find it first. This process will also help you discover many different things and ways of going about things. When you get stuck, practice the concepts, change some values, break it, fix it, and just see how it operates or reacts to various things. That'll help you better understand what things do.
Now with that being said, people are also a resource, so use them accordingly. I don't recommend that you immediately have someone hold your hand, because then you'll learn to rely solely upon others instead of using your own head, which does nothing in terms of your logic/problem-solving skills. However, if you've tried everything, researched the issues, and still coming up blank, then by all means, seek out guidance from the programming community. For the most part, we're all willing to help out our fellow programmers.
www.stackoverflow.com <- In both my personal and professional programming life, that website has been of great importance and usefulness. If you get stuck and have tried to solve it, you can post there and get legit help from all over the world. However, they're a strict Q&A website, so you'll want to make sure you adhere to their rules/guidelines or else your question will never get seen / answered.
EDIT*
I agree with Negi also, good advice. For myself, I do the "One chapter technique." Basically, I tell myself that regardless of the mood I'm in or what's going on, I'll read at least 1 chapter a day. It's an easy goal to reach and can be done in the amount of time I have on any given day. Inevitably you'll progress and reach the end, and most often, you'll end up reading more than 1 chapter every day. I've done this with several languages I've learned.

According to me :
"" If you want to be a successful programmer , you need to learn most of the material by yourself otherwise you'll become dependent ""

To develop a self-learning habit you need to be determined and focused to learn a particular language , make sure that you learn something everyday despite of how your day was , except for certain movements when conditions are too adverse , follow the ''5 hour rule'' Which is followed by the most successful people in the world , one of them is Bill Gates . According to the five hour rule , you need to learn the particular material for just 1 hour a day and for 5 days in a week , that's all what you need to do , nothing else .

And remember :
Practice can't make you perfect but deliberate practice can ..

Google search even for simple things in daily life. Automatically, you will get the habit of doing things or seeking knowledge by yourself. Google also helps you realize what is going on around you and where you stand in the crowd and what you need to do.
