Do you need an IDE other than IDLE to get pygame?

Hello. I'm learning python and I want to download pygame to create games. But I'm having some problems downloading it. Do you need an IDE other than IDLE to get pygame?

you dont need an IDE to programm or run python. if you want to use pygame you need to download the module pygame... for that i would suggest pip the python package installer.
