Has it ever happened wid any1 that once you start learning new language you tend to forget the language learned at past

I learned java and now learning swift and i feel like i forgot java completely. How to cope up?

You don't forget it per say. You might forget some exact phrases and calls to do something, but after you learn a language ... you generally are aware of the proper syntax, when an error occurs you have a realization (oh thats right), and you (for the most part) know what you need to do when a task needs to be completed. I haven't touched Python for example for quite some time, but sometimes I answer questions and I forget at times the exact functions or their rules. But after about 5-10 minutes, I pretty much remember what's needed. No one has perfect memory, but as Humans, we are extremely gifted with recognizing patterns. That's what truly separates us, and makes us unique. So after a tiny bit of dabbling, you'll recall most of what you know, or at least what is most important. The main thing to remember about each language, is that you'll rarely run into a situation where one language wont have something called a 'function', or a 'variable', 'array', etc. So it makes it easier to remember, or quickly re-grasp its rules.
