How to test our skills in programming?

Nithiwat challenges doesn't help us in learning at all,it's mostly memorizing answers.(once having completed more than 400 or 500 plus challenges).
I appreciate Netkos,codewars is really good I am practicing python their.

I know challenging in sololearn and I loved it.
But if u experience these quizzes u will definitely know that these quizzes will not give us that much confidence in programming.
