Why some really good programmers are not rich as mark zuckerber?

I mean that guy bucky at thenewboston knows so much and doesn't look rich is it he that choose to stay so? or mark zuckerberg knew more? or is he lacking ability to come up with new ideas?

If you mean rich, as in multi-millionaire, then there are many variations. For one such people as Zuckenberg, Gates did not became so rich just because they could program, but because they did right thing at the right time, it's more of a business thing than a programming. A decently paid programmer earns what is definitely a comfortable living, it might not look like it if you only know them from internet. Another thing is just preferences, many people prefer to work at lower stress conditions, which might mean lower pay, but higher satisfaction etc.

Different people have different desires, ideologies and objectives, it's as simple as that as far as I'm concerned... programming == skill == tool. You can take a hammer to smash somebody's face or to help him build a house. Moxie Marlinspike was relatively broke last time I checked ( or living modestly anyway ). It's all about choosing what side of the force you're on. Are you a Sith or a Jedi ?
