How to defeat "coder's block"?

Even though I feel confident with the languages that I decide to use, It is very difficult for me to sit down and actually write code from scratch? Writing a simple square program took me well over 2 hours! https://code.sololearn.com/cEye8mi55i0i/?ref=app BTW I admit that I am a perfectionist. ADD also runs in the family. I googled, but no results seemed to "click" for me. Is there anyone who can relate? If so how do you deal with It?

As a perfectionist you can try to go for the quickest working version. The faster you are, the better. Set a goal until when you have to be done and go for it. The longer you need, the lesser the perfection.
