I think it depends on the human capability to build robots that are more flexible and move smoothly.
At some point they'll definitely replace people with robots in dangerous industries, and to an extent they have in mining, but even then, someone does have to write and maintain all that code 😁

it is happening everyday, read an article that said 800 million workers will be replaced in the next 13 years. I am not not sure it would happen that quickly but the potential for automation is there.
