Final Project Ideas

Question

Next year is my final year. So, I still don't know what will I make for my last project.

If you have ideas, please share to help me and maybe other sololearn members here.

@eitan prezes, my final year project was , vehicle to vehicle & infrastructure communication (V2X) a short distance networking based project, i knew norhing about it, but I had almost full semester for figuring it out.
you know, what I learned in that one semester summed up and coonected all the dots in my whole 4yrs computer science degree,
My project was ambitious, it was not perfect,I met only 2 of the 8 proposed features , plagiarized few codes😢, even my MANET deployment was a trick to faculties 😅, coz I was not able to do in the end, took help from my electronic department buddies.

but I got one of the best grades, it was not my shitty project , but learning principles of software engineering in the process, teamwork, hell lot of research, documentation, presentations, collaboration, deadline pressure 😈 and so many other things

that's why go ambitious 👍, you ll be judged by your efforts not your end results

one tip , do research for topic and discuss with seniors before starting, i.e for stuffs like
existing technologies that might be used as component so you need not reinvent the wheel.
feasibility (😅 not over ambitious)
try to contact whoever you think would know best for your project , github s a good place to filter your role models

in my college many of the final year projects in past years have turned into full scale industrial application , and those guys , they found their purpose in life "a passion" through those projects current CEOs , CTOs , MDs , project managers , designers , senior developers, chief architects.
( not me, my will not that strong🤕 but someday)

BHIM app an interface for online transactions a final project from my college turned into a platform used and guided by reserve Bank of India , for online transactions among other banks.
and you'd be surprised to know that actual app during final presentation in college was full of shit but the idea was perfect and that dude took it farther after passing out. ( his words only)

well, the options are endless. if it's originality they want (which i don't think it is) you have to ask yourself "what's missing?". something you think should be there but isn't.

on yhe other hand if it's yhe coding and design skills they want, that is easy to do. pick something already done for a starting point and improve it. maybe it's graphical design, navigation/communication design or it'interactivity.
