In your opinion, why is C++ the most common programming language? [Aside from it is used in making apps... etc.]

C++ Question!

because of its support for low-level programming. This is the reason that most os and drivers, etc are made using c or c++.Also because its older more people know it, including teachers & institutions who teach this to newer generation. But wait i don't think that its the most common programming language, languages like python and even java along with newer dynamic languages like go, haskell, r, etc are changing things.

because it is an "all around" programming language. you can do the things which you can do with other (also older) programming languages + object oriented programming.
