NotePad++ VS Sublime text

Question

What do you think which programm is more comfortable to use?
As I know:

Notepad

Freeware
Open Source
Only Windows
Translated in a lot of languages
Orphography - needs plugin

Sublime text

Costs 70 dollars (but can be used without license)
Not an Open Source
Can be used on Windows, Mac, Linux
Only english
Not so much code languages - need a lot of plugins

Maybe you know some other important differences? What do You use? Why? Which is better for a beginner? Do You know some other better programs?

I use sublime, but only for the monokai theme and because I started with it too

I perfer using Notepad++ but I haven't tried Sublime. Start with Notepad++, as you learn and grow you'll meet people who can possibly persuade you to Sublime
