How does the challenge feature choose the difficulty level of questions asked?
I am new to coding, so I choose opponents of a similar level. However, many of the questions are on topics I have not yet covered, here or elsewhere. When I get answers wrong, I am not told what is right, so I don't learn new concepts. Should I wait to attempt challenges until I learn more?

If you go back to the challenge after it's finishes it lets you see the correct answers. Sometimes this helps you learn and sometimes you might just go "huh", well at least I do sometimes 😉
Heaps of challenges have way too much maths and not enough logic which can be frustrating but many are pretty good.
Another thing to try is when you go back to the challenge, have a PC on hand and type the code in. Play with it and see if you can understand. If you get stuck ask a question with a link to your code.
