I want to become a Software Developer or Engineer, what do I need to know and study to become one? I'm new to all of this.

Well the first thing, it does not feel scared of the career that you want to choose to take a look at the university program that calls your attention and read about the subjects and the requirements that they have.
Read and practice a lot and you'll get it :)
Some other pages that you can learn about are Datacamp, Khan Academy and of course youtube
Also, if you are a non-English speaker you must need improve your skills on it.
